Lead Service Location Map
- Notes:
- For abbreviations when typing in address:
- Use "St" in place of "Street"
- Use "Ave" in place of "Avenue"
- Use "Pl" in place of "Place"
- Use "CT" in place of "Court"
- If your property goes by two different street numbers, and the first number you try does not auto-populate, please try the second street number.
Step 2: After your address auto-populates, click on your address from the drop-down menu below the search box. Your map view will automatically pull to the property address you selected.
Step 3: Once you select your address and the map is showing your property, the materials of your Utility Side (Providence Water Owned) service line and Private Side (Customer Owned) service line will show on your screen.
- Notes:
- You can see the materials of both sides of your property’s service line on the map when looking at the "dot" that corresponds with your property. The left half of the dot shows your utility service line material, and the right half shows your private service line material.
- For example, using the legend on the map to identify the colors, if the left half of your "dot" is green and the right half is red, that means the utility side of your service line is not lead, while the private side of your service line is lead.
Step 4: If your address falls into the blue-shaded “Currently Eligible for Free Replacement” area, then your property is eligible for a free lead service line replacement within the next 10 years.
- If your address does not fall into the blue-shaded “Currently Eligible for Free Replacement” area, then your address is not currently eligible for a free replacement. You may be eligible for a 10-year, 0% interest loan through Providence Water. Call the Water Quality hotline at (401) 521-6303 to learn more about the loan.
Step 5: If you are eligible for a free replacement, click the “Sign Up For Replacement” button to register in leadCAST and sign up for your free replacement.
